St Edward's Catholic Church in Keizer, OR

Designed by DiLoreto Architecture in Portland, the St. Edward Catholic Church has gained recognition as one of the most interesting examples of modern architecture in the Willamette Valley. The Grant Company started construction in January 2013, finishing the project in February 2014.

Locally sourced Douglas Fir from Tualatin-based Western Wood Structures was used to build the iconic interior arches, which The Grant Company used a small tower crane to lift into place. These arches carry the dead load of the building: the flat roof installed by Keizer roofing contractor, Slate & Slate Roofing.
